What is GOLDi LABS?

Grid of Online Laboratories Ilmenau (GOLDi) makes it possible to conduct experiments that can normally only be performed in a laboratory. The platform offers a variety of experiments provided by different universities and colleges. The experiments can be controlled via the Internet, results are displayed in real time and can be analyzed.

GOLDi Labs allows students to use and compare different technologies to control real systems.

How does GOLDi LABS work?

Physical systems and control devices are connected via the Internet and can be coupled arbitrarily to compose experiments. This flexible architecture allows easy expansion of the available physical systems and control units, without having to make hardware changes to the overall architecture.
